Chevrolet Tahoe

Impressive By Design

Whether you’re headed to your favorite coffeehouse or just escaping the daily grind, you need a vehicle that can do double-duty. And if there’s one SUV that can, it’s the Chevy Tahoe. With available seating for up to nine on LS, you’ve got room for friends and kids. With 108.9 cu. ft. of maximum cargo space, you’ve got space for all your stuff. And with 8,500 cu. ft. of maximum towing capability and the Vortec™ 5.3L V8 engine, you’ve got the power to just get away from it all.

Not surprisingly, Tahoe is the full-size SUV that’s both capable and uncompromising. It has the amenities you want: an available rear DVD entertainment, available heated and cooled seats, second row heated seats and heated steering wheel. And it delivers the fuel efficiency you expect: Active Fuel Management™ helps give Tahoe better fuel economy than any competitor – 9.4 L/100km highway. Anyway you look at it, Tahoe delivers.

Exterior

Tahoe Exterior

Rugged Good Looks

Tahoe's impressive styling starts right up front and carries through every detail. An unmistakably powerful grill. An aggressive stance highlighted by a wide track and large tires. Sleek, yet rugged lines that reflect its go anywhere, do anything attitude.

Heavy Lifting Becomes Easy Work

If you ever find yourself in need of heavy lifting, Tahoe makes easy work of it. Loading and unloading are convenient and easy with the power liftgate, standard on LTZ and available on LT. Streamline the look with the power-retractable assist steps with chrome accent strips available on LTZ.

Tahoe Wheels

20" and 22" Chrome Wheels

Why not make your stand-out vehicle stand out even more? Tahoe’s 20” wheels are available in 5-spoke design and available in 6-spoke designs. Or you can opt for the 22” chrome wheels. The crown jewel of the Chevrolet dealer-installed accessory lineup for the crown jewel in your driveway.

Z71 Off-Road Suspension Package

Adventure is waiting for you, and Tahoe can get you there. Features of the available Z71 Off-Road Suspension Package include specially tuned springs and monotube shocks. The Skid Plate Package with an aluminum front underbody shield helps keep your Tahoe free of debris.

Interior

Chevrolet Tahoe Interior

Make Yourself Comfortable

Tahoe isn’t just spacious with seating for up to nine on LS, and up to eight on LT and LTZ, it’s generous on comfort too. Depending on which model you choose, your available options include heated and cooled leather-appointed front seats (standard on LTZ), second-row power-release fold-and-tumble seats and heated second-row seats. Tahoe is the perfect balance of form and function.

Tahoe Seats

Rear DVD Entertainment System

Keep passengers entertained with the available overhead rear-seat DVD entertainment system. Back-seat riders get an overhead flat-screen monitor, two sets of wireless headphones and a remote control.

Total Climate Control

Heated and cooled perforated leather-appointed 12-way power front bucket seats provide added comfort in LTZ, and include two-position driver memory, and driver and passenger power recline and lumbar support. There's even a heated steering wheel, standard on LTZ, to keep you comfortable while on the go.

Performance

Tahoe Performance

Utility you can use

The Tahoe is engineered to get the job done, and the 160,000km/5-year powertrain limited warranty is there to back it up. The Vortec™ 5.3L V8 engine delivers 320 hp and 335 lb.-ft. of torque and gives 2WD models trailering power up to 8,500 lbs.

Tahoe Engine

Powerful Fuel Efficiency

Combining Active Fuel Management™ technology and the Vortec™ engine's efficient air-to-fuel mix, engineers gave Tahoe impressive horsepower without compromising fuel economy.

The Variable Valve Timing controls the valves during intake and exhaust, enabling the car to use even less fuel. These technologies help give the Tahoe an impressive 9.4L/100km highway out on the open road. It's no surprise Tahoe has better fuel economy than any competitor.

Safety

Chevrolet Tahoe Frame

Full-Size Safety

There's a lot riding in your Tahoe. That's why it includes some of the latest safety technology to help keep you safe on the road. Advanced electronic systems, coupled with engineering characteristics like a steel safety cage, work together to help prevent collisions – and to help protect you if you're in one. It's comprehensive safety before, during and after a collision.

Before

The StabiliTrak™ Electronic Stability Control System with Traction Control and four-wheel antilock brakes help you stay in control in slippery road conditions, and Proactive Roll Avoidance engages automatically to help reduce the risk of a rollover crash. The standard Tire Pressure Monitor is designed to let you know when tire pressure levels are less than optimal.

6 Airbags

During

Tahoe is equipped with six standard airbags for the driver, right front passenger and outboard rear occupants, and a steel safety cage to help preserve occupant space in the vehicle.

After

OnStar Automatic Crash Response, standard for the first six months on all Tahoe models, means you can be automatically connected to emergency assistance if a collision occurs—whether or not the airbags deploy.
