Shaw GMC understands the need for fast and efficient service. Our entire service experience is designed around your specific needs with the objective of fixing your vehicle right the first time around, and dedicated to giving you service that keeps your GM vehicle operating at peak performance.
Our industry-trained technicians use factory-authorized parts and cutting-edge diagnostic systems to restore your vehicle to optimum condition. While you wait, you can enjoy a complimentary coffee, internet and phone access as well as satellite TV in our waiting room. If you need to leave your vehicle with us for a while, we can offer free shuttle service or a low cost rental vehicle.
Our medium duty truck centre allows us to work on larger vehicles including motor homes, buses and our factory trained technicians are able to work on medium duty Isuzu and Caterpillar engines. If you own a Hummer, a diesel truck or a vehicle with Allison Transmission, our fully trained technicians who specialize in working in these areas will be working on these vehicles. Our facility is also a Government-accepted Inspection Station for out-of-province and commercial vehicle inspections.
Our tire centre, conveniently located within our main service area, offers you expert advice and excellent selection of tires, including Goodyear, Michelin, Dunlop, Kumho, Uniroyal, BF Goodrich.

Service FAQ's

What does my warranty cover?
Failed parts and workmanship are covered under your warranty. Regular maintenance is not covered under any warranty policy. See your owner's manual for details.
Why does my owner’s manual have different maintenance schedules?
The extreme weather we experience in Calgary requires subtle changes in regular maintenance procedures. ShawGMC uses both GM scheduling and Calgary scheduling because of those climate fluctuations. In addition, the way you use your vehicle can affect the need for certain maintenance.

GM ROADSIDE Assistance is 1-800-268-6800.
How can I pay for my repairs?
You can pay using cash, VISA, MasterCard, Interac and American Express.
Do you have loaner vehicles?
We do not issue loaner vehicles. Rental are available through Shaw GMC (valid driver's license and credit card required). We do provide a shuttle service for customers to and from work or home throughout the day within Calgary city limits.
How do I drop off my vehicle for service?
Go to the Service Drive Thru which is most easily accessed from 46th Ave SE and a Service Advisor will assist you with booking in your vehicle. Mention whether you have an appointment and what work you want done. Service Advisors have a complete history of your vehicle maintenance and might recommend a service based on your kilometres and history.
